Registration
Registration for the Hanarry West swim team usually begins in early March and is completed online through the team’s website. The team welcomes swimmers from ages 5 to 18, with age groups based on the age of swimmer as of June 1. Swimmers do not need to be able to swim all strokes, but they do need to be able to swim unassisted. Swimmers compete by swimming one lap (10 and under) or two laps of a 25-yard pool.
Hanarry West is a volunteer-led non-profit that relies on parents to make meets happen. When registering, please be aware that one parent is required to volunteer at meets 4 times during the season or serve on the leadership team.

Additional registration items
Volunteer Roles – All Dolphin families are required to volunteer for 4 meet shifts this season. Closer to the start of the season, the team’s Volunteer Manager will coordinate scheduling of the 4 shifts. Families that do not fulfill all 4 of their volunteer obligations will be charged a penalty. You’ll find more information about this penalty on the registration form.
Parking Space Raffle – In the merchandise section at the end of registration, you’ll see an option to participate in a $5 raffle for a home meet parking space. You can buy as many raffle tickets as you like, and we’ll put your name in the drawing that number of times for a designated parking space in the HW parking lot at all home meets this season!
Fun Friday Sponsorships – If your business, your family or your neighborhood is interested in sponsoring a Fun Friday this season, you can do so at registration this year. There will be an option at the end of the registration form to donate $150 in sponsorship of a Fun Friday, providing treats and fun to our swimmers. During the season, you'll receive sponsorship recognition on our website, Facebook Group and at the event.
