LAST SPLASH BASH

We are looking forward to celebrating a great season this Tuesday, July 7, at the Hanarry West pool! Here are a few details and a (tentative!) schedule for the evening:

6 p.m. Pool opens for team families
We’ll use Club tables and chairs for the event, but we’ll also need people to bring some of their own. For this event, please remember to park ONLY ON ONE SIDE OF THE STREET just like we do for practices and meets.

6-7:30 p.m. Concession Stand Open
Each swimmer will eat FREE at this event: 2 slices of pizza! Parents and siblings can purchase pizza for $2 a slice and drinks for $1.

6:30-7:15 p.m. Awards & Recognitions
Volunteer Leadership Team Thank You
Age Group Photos (please have swimmers wear team shirts one last time)
Medals for each swimmer
Pins for Fastest Swimmers in Free, Back, Fly, Breast and IM in each age group
Coach Recognition

7:15 p.m. Pool Challenge & Popsicles
Thank you to our Social Coordinators Kim Rutkowski and Rachel Ulrich for planning this event and a fun pool activity for the swimmers. Once the swimmers complete their challenge, they can head to the Concession Stand for a FREE King of Pops popsicle. Thank you to the Turner family for donating popsicles for all our swimmers! Parents and other family members can purchase a King of Pops for $5 during the event.

7:30-9 p.m. Free Swim & Photo Ops
The evening will end with time for free swim and don’t forget photos! We’ll have the team banner and some decorations out for those end of the season photos. 

END OF SEASON SURVEY
Please take a few minutes in the next week to fill out our end of season survey. We DO READ responses, and we DO MAKE changes based on feedback we receive from parents (and swimmers).

LOST & FOUND
Please be sure to check the swim team lost & found this week! Sometimes, you never know what you might be missing until you find it in the lost & found! The Hall family does know they are missing a pair of men’s size 12 navy Crocs from the Mountain Park meet. If you happen to have gone home with them by mistake, please bring them to the pool.

COUNTY MEET
For our County Meet qualifiers, the League has sent out several pieces of information ahead of the meet this weekend:

Heat Sheet Pre-order
Heat sheets are a commemorative meet program which includes team ads and Senior Recognition. Only a limited number will be available for sale on site, preorder is recommended. Pre-orders available through Monday, July 6.ONSITE cost will be $15 CASH ONLY. The booklet contains ALL sessions.

Good Luck Ducks
Want to send your county swimmer a good luck duck at the county meet? Each duck is a minimum $5 donation! Only 1 duck per donation transaction. Make multiple transactions for ducks for multiple swimmers. All proceeds benefit SAA Atlanta funding pediatric cancer research conducted at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Order by Wed, July 8th at 12pm! A limited number will be available for purchase onsite in the lobby.

River Oak Photography will once again be on-site during our upcoming County Swim Meet to capture professional action photos of your swimmers at the county meet. You can sign up at River Oak Photography’s retail table located in the main concourse during the meet, or reserve online.
