Each summer, the Gwinnett County Swim League (GCSL) hosts the County Championship Meet at Georgia Tech for the county's top swimmers in each age group. Based on their times from the regular season, the top 50 swimmers in each event compete at the County meet. 

During the season, the County League keeps track of the top 100 swimmers in each event. There is a lot of movement in the list during the season and at the the end because swimmers can only swim in three events (but might qualify for more) and some may choose not to participate. 

At Hanarry West, we keep an eye on the top 100 list throughout the season, and we will hold practice for County qualifiers after the regular season practice ends. Also, each team sends a boy and girl relay to the County meet, so if your child has been regularly swimming on an "A" Relay, they'll likely be swimming that relay at County. 

For each session of the County Meet, Hanarry West provides 2-4 volunteer parents -- this meet is also mainly run by volunteers. If your child qualifies and plans to swim at Tech, please be prepared to have one parent volunteer at your child's sessions.
