Fun Fridays are held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. after a Thursday swim meet. A sweet treat is usually provided to all swimmers. And swimmers have the opportunity to have free swim time and play games with their teammates.

During this time, coaches also recognize swimmers who made improvements at the previous evening's meet -- who improved their times or competed in an event for the first time. If they are ready, ribbons from that week's meet are available for pickup at the end of the Fun Friday hour. 

The team is grateful to its Fun Friday sponsors each year, who donate funds or items to make these Friday mornings a highlight of the season. 

In addition to games, treats and fun swims, coaches recognize swimmers' accomplishments during Fun Friday. There are cannonballs for swimmers besting their times in an event and for swimmers competing in an event for the first time. 

Coaches also recognize any team records that were broken that week (11 team records were broken in the 2024 season!), and recognize Swimmers of the Week with a yard sign.
