Practice Schedule
There is practice TOMORROW, Friday, May 21. There is no practice this weekend or on Monday/Memorial Day. Practices resume on Tuesday, with evening practices starting that day as well.

Volunteer Shifts
For the few remaining families who haven’t yet signed up for volunteer shifts, please remember that your swimmer will NOT be entered in next week’s meet if your volunteer signups aren’t completed. The deadline for signups was this past Sunday. The deadline for meet entry is tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. If you have questions, concerns, technical issues, please email our Volunteer Coordinators (who are also volunteers; please don’t create more work for them by not following team guidelines): [email protected]

Meet RSVPs
This evening, please RSVP your swimmers for next week’s meet. The deadline to RSVP is this Friday at 11:30 a.m. If you do not RSVP “yes”, the coaches will not enter them to swim. Our coaches spend many hours – beginning on Friday – preparing for the meet, and knowing who will be attending is the first step.

To RSVP, log into your SwimTopia account, navigate to the Calendar page and specific event – select the green “Meet Entry” box. If you know your swimmer’s schedule for the season, you can go ahead and RSVP for all our meets. You can also RSVP for Fun Fridays, Stroke Clinics and the Last Splash Bash.

Summer Book Swap
Our first Fun Friday will feature our second annual Summer Book Swap! Clean off those bookshelves (or closets or basements) and bring your used books all week long. Give books to the coaches or place them in front of the swim team shed. We’ll store them until Friday – and then volunteers will set up tables with all the books near our Free Little Library. Adult and kid books are welcomed! Even if you don't have books to contribute, plan to come take home some new summer reading.

Street Parking
Please remember for not only our home meets but PRACTICES TOO that parking is on one side of the street only – the pool side. If a resident has parked on the other side, please avoid parking directly across from that resident vehicle so that the street is clear. For street parking, cars need to be parked in the direction of traffic (this is state law that local police have been known to ticket for).

Coach Kudos Cards
It’s been a great first two weeks of the season, and a lot of that is because of our team of coaches! NEW this season we’ve created Coach Kudos Cards that parents and swimmers can use to give coaches a shoutout all season long. You’ll find the cards (starting next Tuesday) attached to our team message board in a blue mailbox. Write a note and then drop the card in the white mailbox. The coaches will be given the cards at their weekly Friday morning meetings.
