May 11: Bathrooms & Driveway Open

Bathrooms Are Open
A plumbing miracle happened just before practice yesterday – the Club bathrooms were fixed! What was being predicted to be a major pipe issue turned out to be some barnacles that were able to be removed yesterday. A HUGE thanks to Susan Swafford for cleaning the bathrooms so that they could be used during practices yesterday.

Driveway & Parking Lot Are Open
Cars are now allowed on the new pool driveway. Please remember this is a one-way driveway, so proceed with an abundance of caution and be patient as people are coming and going from practice, it will get busy.

Swim Team Lost & Found
There is a clear bin for team lost and found items that will be located next to the team shed at each practice (this is the shed near the diving board). If you are missing something, check here. And, if you are helping to clean up after practice, this is a great place to put items you’ve found. The pool will have a separate lost & found box in the clubhouse once the pool officially opens.

Pancake Social: Please RSVP
Many parent volunteers are working hard to plan our annual Pancake Social for Saturday, May 20. Please RSVP through Swimtopia as soon as possible to help with logistics and planning. Each family is asked to bring a food or drink item – cash donations are also welcomed (Venmo). And we are looking for a few chefs to show off their pancake flipping skills!

Dolphin Kickoff: Halfway To Our Goal
We are halfway to our goal of buying new kickboards for the team! We are especially need of smaller kickboards for our younger swimmers. We are going to make a purchase order tomorrow (Friday) with the donations we’ve received so far. If you’d like to donate (any amount is welcomed), you can Venmo “Hanarry-Swim-Team”, drop cash in the box at practice or use this Swimtopia Store link.

Thank you to the following families for donating kickboards: Meecham, Borneman, Vick, Malkoc, Granberry, Hughes, Kersey.
