Safety Protocols 2021

Safety plans are still being developed but here are some FAQ for the season. As soon as possible, we will finalize all the plans and put together a packet. However, we know that you want information to help your family make decisions.  If you have other specific questions, email Michele Kruger [email protected] and we will try to get the information.

* Practices will be limited to 20 swimmers which will be spread out 4 per lane.  Coaches will have them starting at different points in the lanes.

* Coaches will wear masks when working with swimmers.

* There will be no person to person contact which means no coaches in the water.

* Swimmers only will be allowed in the pool area during practices. They will enter through one gate and exit through the other.

* Swimmers will be assigned to either M/W/F practices, or T/Thurs/F practices, or M/T evening and Sat. practice.  Practice times will be determined by the number of swimmers in each group.  An opportunity to request a specific group will be offered as soon as we determine the practice times.

* There will be 5 virtual meets. This means that we will swim at our pool and our opponent will swim at their pool.  Our times will be compared to determine the winner.

* Families will be needed to volunteer to work meets.

* Spectators will be limited but we will create some way that parents can see their child swim.  Masks will be required in the pool area.

* Team information meet will be held on Zoom.  Date TBD.

* Fun events will be built into practices and limited to their practice groups.
