Dolphin Families,  We get to spend another whole evening together, Yay!!! The weather could be challenging again. Thanks for sticking it out on Monday. Believe me, that is a whole lot better than rescheduling. 

Making Waves to Fight Cancer

 To support a great cause within the swimming community - fighting childhood cancer - GCSL invites every team to participate in a league-wide fundraising night on June 20th benefiting Swim Across America . Every year, Swim Across America raises money for childhood cancer research that stays local to the Atlanta area, benefiting the Aflac Cancer Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Many swimmers across GCSL participate in Swim Across America and are actively raising money in preparation for the open water swim at Lake Lanier in September. Having a designated night to raise money for this cause will allow each team to either support the members on their team working for this great cause. We will be doing a lot of small things Thursday night to raise money and all proceeds will go to SAA.     

Be on the look out:  1) We will be selling Ducks for a Buck to wish your swimmer luck! 2) There will be brownies. 3) There will also be some special crafty items made by MIkayla all for $5 and under  (earrings, bracelets, pendants, flipflops and more)  All Proceeds go to Swim Across America . If we are in the top two teams raising money that night we will be recognized at the county meet.
